1982 Ventures, an early-stage fintech-focused VC firm in Southeast Asia has appointed James Kim as its Operating Partner.

He will provide guidance on marketing plans, scaling operations, and forming key partnerships to assist these companies in improving digital experiences, expanding their user base, and achieving business growth.

James Kim is a Managing Director at Accenture and leads their Software & Platforms Industry Practice in the Growth Markets (including Asia Pacific and Latin America). He also serves as the portfolio leader for the Southeast Asia practice. James is also a former Managing Director at Google, leading their APAC Channel Partnership business for SMB Ads.
