Bahrain-Based AFS has Partnered with Samsung

Arab Financial Services (AFS) and Samsung Gulf Electronics launched Samsung Pay in Oman, a major step in the country’s digital transformation.

AFS, the region’s premier digital payment solutions provider and fintech facilitator, is again advancing innovation and client satisfaction.

Arab Financial Services (AFS) and Samsung Gulf Electronics are introducing Samsung Pay in Oman using AFS’s regional expertise in digital payment solutions and Samsung’s breakthrough technology to provide Omani consumers a secure and convenient contactless payment option.

The agreement improves AFS’s presence in the Omani market and expands Samsung Pay’s reach, improving Omani consumers’ daily transactions’ convenience and security.

This follows the Central Bank of Oman’s recent card tokenisation instructions for banks and payment providers. The agreement improves Oman’s financial environment and encourages innovative digital payment methods, marking a major step in its digital transition.
