AirAsia Bhd has Secured US$443 million dual-tranche private funding to renovate planes grounded during the epidemic, according to sources.

AIIB

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), based in Beijing, raised $300 million for its first bond issue by utilizing blockchain technology from Euroclear, the World Bank’s blockchain platform.

The AAA-rated bond has a January 2027 maturity date and a 4% coupon. This was released via the distributed ledger (DLT) technology from Euroclear.

Pathalys Pharma

Pathalys Pharma, a Research Triangle Park, NC biopharmaceutical startup developing kidney disease medicines, raised $105M in Series B funding.

Leading the round was TCGX, backed by founding investors of Pathalys, Catalys Pacific and DaVita Venture Group, as well as additional investors Marshall Wace, Samsara BioCapital, JP Morgan Life Sciences Private Capital, KB Investment, and JPS Growth Investment Limited Partnership.

Siepe

Siepe, a Dallas-based private credit and CLO manager software and technology provider, raised $30M in Series B funding.WestCap led the round.

The money will support a multi-product strategy, AI and machine learning expansion, and strategic partnerships.

Resal 

Resal, an online gifting platform situated in Saudi Arabia, has Secured a $9 million Series A funding round.

In addition to other angel investors, the funding round was supported by Derayah Ventures Fund, Al-Wafrah AlThanya Investment Company, Venture Souq FinTech Fund, ADDiriyah Asset Management, Nomad Holdings, Bugshan Investment Group, and many family offices.

PostEx

A fintech business called PostEx has raised $7.3 million in its pre-series A funding round. This is an important stage for startups like PostEx that want to hit major milestones and accelerate growth before moving on to a larger Series A investment.

Enteligent

Enteligent, a Morgan Hill, California-based company that creates solar-powered DC-to-DC chargers for EVs, has raised $6 million in capital. Taronga Ventures spearheaded the round.

The company plans to use the money to increase both its development and operational efforts.

Kubiya

DevOps conversational AI solution provider Kubiya closed its $12 million Seed round with a $6 million equity and debt extension.

AI Teammates, a new platform that delegate hard duties to digital colleagues through organic, human-like conversations, was also revealed.

DiMuto

Startup DiMuto, which provides FOOD supply chain solutions, announced on that it has raised $5.9 million in funding during its Series A round.

The Yield Lab Asia Pacific, a venture capital firm, led the round. Great Giant Pineapple, SGInnovate, and Seeds Capital—the investment branch of Enterprise Singapore—joined the round as current investors. Dave Chen, Gold Sceptre, and Sis Cloud Global Tech Fund 8 are among the other investors.
