The Innovative Startups and SMES Fund (ISSF), Jordan’s largest investment fund, has invested USD 3 million in the Antler MENAP Fund LP.
The USD 60 million early-stage venture capital fund, launched by Antler, targets investments from pre-seed to Series A across the MENA region with a sector-agnostic approach. This investment reflects ISSF’s continued commitment to strengthening Jordan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by partnering with leading global VC firms with a strong regional focus.
Founded in Singapore, Antler is a global leader in early-stage investing and pioneers the “Day Zero” approach, backing founders from the very beginning of their journey. With a presence in 27 cities across major tech hubs, Antler operates over 15 pre-seed funds and has made more than 1,500 investments into startups worldwide.
Mohammed Al Muhtaseb, CEO of ISSF, said:
“Our partnership with Antler shows our shared commitment to supporting Jordan’s startup ecosystem. It highlights Jordan’s strong talent and reinforces the country’s role as a hub for innovation in the region. Through Antler’s MENA fund and a dedicated program for Jordan, we aim to provide Jordanian founders with the funding, structure, and global connections they need to turn their ideas into successful businesses. Antler’s worldwide network, regional focus, and experience working with founders from the beginning make them a valuable partner in our mission to grow high-potential startups in Jordan.”
Magnus Grimeland, Founder and CEO of Antler, said:
“This partnership is a strong vote of confidence in Jordan’s entrepreneurial talent. Jordanian founders stand out for their creativity, resilience, and global outlook.
