
Indian fuel tech startup Nawgati has raised $2.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round, with Ajay Upadhyaya leading the investment. Other participants included Vivek Mathur, the MeitY Startup Hub, Aamara Capital, and additional investors. The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its fleet management solutions and expand operations across India and international markets.

Nawgati’s Fueling App, which already boasts over 1.5 million users is rapidly growing. The company aims to reach 5 million users by the end of 2025, which is well within reach given its strong growth and expanding reach. Nawgati’s B2B platform, called Aaveg, is also growing quickly. The company plans to connect 20,000 fuel pump stations to Aaveg by the end of 2025. Many fuel stations choose this platform because it helps make refueling faster and more efficient.

As part of its growth, Nawgati is expanding in big and medium-sized cities like Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Bhopal, Chennai, Pune, Lucknow, Patna, and Jaipur. The company also plans to launch its services in new places like Varanasi, Ratnagiri, Latur, Goa, Kharagpur, Guwahati, and Jammu, where many fuel station owners are already interested.
