Investigate VC, a venture capital firm based in Singapore that invests in fast-growing startups with strong networks, has launched its new set of funds – Fund 2 (I-III).
The firm said on Monday that it plans to manage over $500 million through three funds set for 2025, 2027, and 2029. The goal is to grow its successful investment approach with a global reach and a strong, professional setup.
The new fund series builds on the success of Investigation’s first fund, which delivered strong results with a 28% return rate and earned five times the money invested. It uses a mix of expert knowledge, AI-powered tools to choose investments and unique ways of finding great deals.
The first of the new funds, Investigate Fund 2 (I), aims to raise $150 million to support early-stage startups in Asia, Europe, and North America.
The fund is looking to invest in companies where growth is driven by user activity, data, and engagement — the same pattern seen in over 70% of today’s most successful tech companies.
The fund will review over 1,000 carefully selected early-stage startups each year using its own sourcing methods. From those, more than 300 promising opportunities—from Seed to Series B stage—will be shortlisted for each fund.
A special decision-making and growth system is also used to spot key growth moments earlier and help portfolio companies grow faster than traditional venture capital methods.
The fund also has a unique setup that allows investors to access their money after five years while keeping the chance for long-term profits.
A global team with hands-on experience in Asia, Europe, and North America supports the fund. The team focuses on industries that are important for building a strong and resilient society.
“Network effects aren’t a feature — they’re the engine. They define the companies that reshape industries,
“Investigate VC is built to find these founders early and help them scale into global leaders,” said Mikael Krogh, Founder and Partner of Investigate VC.
Meanwhile, Michael Pomerleau, Co-Founder and Partner at Investigate VC said the firm believes that venture capital needs to be smarter and based on strong, fundamental ideas.
“Investigate VC bridges the long-standing gap between early-stage innovation and institutional capital — giving investors a meaningful way to access scalable, resilient, high-performing startups,” he added.
