Sunbolah has started a special program to help new companies working in food and farming technology.
The program connects Riyadh and Paris and aims to support these startups so they can grow and expand both in the region and around the world.
The program focuses on helping startups that are just getting started (Seed stage) or are preparing for their first big funding (Pre-Series A).
It gives founders a supportive business environment to help their companies grow and succeed in a fast-changing and important industry.
The program offers many types of support, like expert workshops from both local and international professionals, flexible workspaces at the “Garage” center in Riyadh, and weekly personal mentoring sessions.
It also helps startups connect with research centres, get the right licenses, meet investors from around the world, and join community events to build strong connections in the business world.
Sunbula wants to boost teamwork between countries in agricultural technology and encourage new ideas in the food supply chain. They do this by connecting their innovation center in Saudi Arabia with markets in Europe.
The program lasts for 17 weeks, and applications for the second session are open until June 14.
