Igloo Unveils New Tech Solutions to Enhance Insurance Operations in Southeast Asia

Igloo, an insurance tech company from Singapore, has started Igloo Tech Solutions to help improve insurance services in Southeast Asia.

On Monday, the company said that after doing well in embedded insurance, working with sales agents, and helping customers, its new business will provide insurers and brands with digital tools. These tools will help them earn more money, make their work easier, use AI technology, and grow their business faster.

The company mentioned a McKinsey report for 2025 that says new trends and improvements in AI are creating chances to update and improve every part of insurance. Because of this, insurance companies need to change how they develop, price, and offer their products.

Igloo said it wants to be a reliable partner for insurance companies and brands to help them grow using its insurance technology solutions.

So far, more than 75 insurance companies and businesses from different fields like fintech, ecommerce, logistics, and telecom use Igloo’s technology. They use it to make more money, fix problems in their work, or get new tools without having to hire tech teams or build new systems.

“Since insurance companies in the Asia Pacific (APAC) spend only 2-3% of their total premiums on technology, the industry has a big gap when it comes to digital tools and updates.”

“Enhancing digitalization capabilities is not optional. It is imperative in today’s landscape. Igloo Tech Solutions is designed to bridge this divide, offering insurers the tools they need to modernize operations, enhance customer experiences and drive rapid growth,” said Raunak Mehta, Igloo Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

Igloo Tech Solutions offers different tools—Igloo Agent, Igloo Consumer, and Igloo Partner—all built on a no-code platform called Turbo. These tools are made to be flexible and easy to use.

Each tool can be changed and adjusted to fit what a business needs. Whether a business wants to improve agent networks, make things easy for customers, or use smart systems to handle claims, these solutions can help.

Igloo is rapidly adding more AI features to improve its technology solutions.

For example, its AI Claims Agent helps users easily file their claims by chatting with them and letting them upload important documents in just a few minutes.

Claims are accepted or denied right away, with clear reasons given to help users fix any mistakes. This reduces the work for claims teams and makes customers happier.

AI Fraud Detection helps improve claims processing by checking claim details, automatically spotting possible fraud, and alerting the claims and fraud teams.

Using OCR technology and advanced language understanding, AI Fraud Detection reads and understands claim information to find fake or inconsistent claims and other issues.

“No one is better placed than Igloo to realize how AI and Agentic AI can change the way insurance is bought, sold and managed,” said Mehta.

“We have worked for years with insurance companies, agents, partners, and claims teams, so we understand the problems they face very well,”

“We are making great strides in developing AI capabilities at various touchpoints to make our Tech Solutions even more compelling and unrivalled,” he added.
