AirAsia Media and Xoomplay Partner to Launch In-Car Ads on AirAsia Ride

AirAsia Media, the travel media branch of Capital A, announced on Friday that it is partnering with Xoomplay Technologies, a company that provides advertising solutions. Together, they will install tablets inside AirAsia Ride cars. These tablets will show ads, giving brands a great way to reach passengers while making the ride more enjoyable for them.

“At AirAsia Media, we are always exploring new ways to connect brands with the right audiences, and we are proud to work with Xoomplay to integrate in-car tablet advertising within AirAsia Ride; this enhances an advertiser’s media plan by extending brand presence beyond the flight, engaging travellers during their journey to or from the airport,

“This creates a seamless brand experience across AirAsia Media’s multiple touchpoints within Capital A’s travel ecosystem, ensuring consistent visibility throughout the entire travel journey,” said Mahek Shah, Head of AirAsia Media, in a statement.

Ramanathan A.M.N Thiagarajan, CFO of MOVE, said this partnership is driven by their goal to make travel better for passengers and create new opportunities for their partners.

“Passengers will now be able to enjoy curated content and entertainment during their journeys while advertisers gain access to a highly engaged, captive audience across key cities in Malaysia,” he added.

AirAsia Media doesn’t just offer in-car ads on AirAsia Ride. It also gives brands a full range of smart, data-driven advertising options across the entire AirAsia travel network. This includes ads in the MOVE app, media on AirAsia flights, and more throughout Southeast Asia.

AirAsia Media is the travel media arm of Capital A and part of AirAsia MOVE. It uses the group’s large network to help brands run creative and targeted ad campaigns across Asia.
