Amber International Raises $25.5M in Private Placement to Boost Institutional Crypto Growth

Amber International Holding Limited, a Singapore-based company offering crypto financial services for institutions under the brand name “Amber Premium,” has announced a $25.5 million private funding round. The funds will help the company grow its crypto services for institutional clients.

The firm said in a statement on Monday that it has successfully entered into subscription agreements for the private placement.

Amber International said that this funding round is supported by well-known investors such as Mile Green, Harvest Capital, Pantera Capital, Choco Up, and other major investors from Asia. Their support shows strong trust in Amber International’s future growth and leadership in the crypto space.

The company plans to use the funds to grow its crypto services for institutions in the U.S. and Southeast Asia. Key focus areas include improving its crypto reserve strategy, developing asset tokenization (like stablecoins and real-world assets), and launching new AI-powered financial tools—while following local laws and regulations.

“This private placement is about forging deeper alignment with strategic investors. This exceptional group of investors bring global networks, policy insight, and sector expertise that will amplify our growth in key markets,

“We’re entering a new chapter for institutional crypto — and we’re doing it with partners who share our conviction,” said Wayne Huo, Chief Executive Officer of Amber International.

One of the key investors, Mile Green, adds strong regional value to the group of backers.

Mile Green is led by top investors and business leaders, including Chatchaval Jiaravanon, a member of the powerful CP Group family, which controls The Charoen Pokphand Group—Asia’s largest business group. Mile Green brings strong regional connections and opens the door for joint projects focused on Southeast Asia’s institutional market.

Another major backer, Pantera Capital—a U.S. investment firm focused on blockchain and a long-time supporter of Amber Group—also confirmed its continued support in this round.

“Pantera led Amber Group’s Series A in 2019, drawn by a team with deep global finance experience and a clear vision for compliant, intuitive institutional access,

“We’re proud to have been not just early investors, but also early users of the platform—transacting over $6 billion to date—and we’re excited to support Amber International as it enters its next phase of growth,” said Paul Veradittakit, Managing Partner at Pantera Capital.

According to the statement, the involvement of both leading crypto and traditional finance investors brings not only capital but also strategic resources and diversified networks,

strengthening Amber International’s ability to scale rapidly and solidify its position as a trusted partner for institutions and high-net-worth clients navigating digital asset markets.

The private funding round is expected to close on or around July 4, 2025.

Amber International is a subsidiary of Amber Group. Its brand, Amber Premium, provides professional-level services to institutions and high-net-worth individuals, helping them manage and grow their digital asset portfolios.

The company offers a secure and scalable financial platform that uses its blockchain and financial technologies. It also uses AI-powered risk management and advanced trading algorithms across centralized finance (CeFi), decentralized finance (DeFi), and over-the-counter (OTC) markets.
