TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia’s largest fintech company, has partnered with Kakitangan.com a company specializing in human resources. Together, they aim to make it easier and fairer for businesses to pay salaries, particularly for workers who lack bank accounts or are often overlooked.
TNG Digital said in a statement on Wednesday that with the integration of the DuitNow Bulk Transfer, employers using Kakitangan.com can now disburse salaries in bulk directly using any bank’s cash management system to employees’ TNG eWallet account, quickly and securely, even without traditional bank accounts.
Every TNG eWallet user receives a DuitNow account number, allowing them to receive money from any bank or eWallet in Malaysia, just like a traditional bank account.
The government agency JTKSM recognizes TNG eWallet as a valid salary account. This is very helpful for migrant and underserved workers who often have trouble opening bank accounts.
With TNG eWallet, they can receive their pay immediately and have easy tools to save, manage, and use their money safely online.
“We’re excited to collaborate with Kakitangan.com to make salary payments more accessible to all workers in Malaysia,
“Financial inclusion has always been at the heart of our mission, and with this partnership, TNG Digital and Kakitangan.com will be able to address the real pain points of individuals who lack access to traditional bank accounts by providing them with a secure and accessible salary solution through the TNG eWallet,” said Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of TNG Digital.
“This empowers them with greater financial freedom, dignity, and peace of mind. With over 2 million foreigners using TNG eWallet, we’re confident that this partnership will further enhance HR and payroll workflows for companies, ensuring no one is left behind in the digital age,” he added.
Kakitangan.com collaborates with over 10,000 companies and provides comprehensive human resource solutions. Their system helps businesses comply with the law and maintain accurate records automatically.
With this new partnership, Kakitangan.com will now help businesses pay employees who don’t have bank accounts. This makes salary payments faster, safer, and follows all local rules.
It also cuts down on manual HR work and makes employees, especially those who are often overlooked, happier and more likely to stay with the company.
“Tens of thousands of Malaysian businesses trust Kakitangan.com for helping boost productivity and employee engagement through our artificial intelligence (AI)-powered, reliable online human resource and payroll solutions.
“We’re excited to partner with TNG Digital — a platform we trust — to make comprehensive payroll offerings even more inclusive and efficient in the digital banking era,” said Effon Khoo, Director of Kakitangan.com.
“With the integration between Kakitangan.com and TNG eWallet, we can now better support Malaysian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) whose employees prefer digital wallets, enabling them to receive salaries in a timely, automated, and secure manner,
“We look forward to building on this collaboration to empower Malaysian businesses, strengthen Malaysia’s economy via digitalization, and improve the lives of the people here,” he added.
According to the statement, employees who receive salaries via TNG eWallet also gain access to a full suite of financial services, from making payments with DuitNow QR and Visa Card, to sending money back to their home country via Remittance, or withdrawing cash using the linked Touch ‘n Go eWallet Visa Card.
These features help users, especially the unbanked, manage their finances more independently and participate fully in Malaysia’s digital economy.
