Ovasave, a women’s health tech startup based in the UAE, has raised $1.2 million in a pre-seed funding round.
The startup is part of Hub71, a tech hub in Abu Dhabi, and focuses on improving women’s health through technology.
The funding round was led by PlusVC, Annex Investments, and 25 Madison.
Several angel investors from the UAE and Saudi Arabia also took part, along with some family investment offices.
Ovasave plans to grow its presence in Gulf countries and strengthen its partnerships with different organizations.
The company is also working on the next version of its app, which will have new features like period tracking, symptom monitoring, access to healthcare, and AI-based tools to support women’s health.
Ovasave also wants to offer support for health stages that are often overlooked, like premenopause and menopause.
This move is part of their goal to give women better preventive care throughout different stages of life.
Ovasave was founded in 2023 and focuses on women’s health. It offers digital services for fertility testing, egg freezing, hormone balance, and menopause care.
Some of its services include at-home hormone tests, online doctor consultations, personalized supplement plans, and help connecting users with top fertility clinics.
