Egyptian restaurant logistics startup Suplyd has raised $2 million in a Pre-Series A funding round.
The funds will be used to grow its digital supply platform and build a fully integrated digital system for the catering and restaurant industry in Egypt.
The funding round was led by 4DX Ventures, Camel Ventures, and VC, with support from Seedstars and existing investors.
Suplyd plans to use the new funding to grow its operations across Egypt and develop new tools to help restaurants run more efficiently.
This is part of a larger strategy to build a strong digital system that supports supply chains and daily operations in the restaurant and catering industry.
In December 2022, Suplyd raised $1.6 million in a Pre-Seed funding round.
The company aims to expand its services to cover more of a restaurant’s needs — including ingredients, supplies, tools, and equipment — while focusing on cutting down waste and lowering operating costs.
Suplyd was founded in 2022 to provide digital solutions for restaurants dealing with problems in traditional supply chains, such as unreliable suppliers, delivery delays, and poor transparency.
Its platform helps restaurants handle daily purchases using one control panel, offering features like inventory tracking, order management, data analysis, and delivery tracking.
