Jeh Aerospace raises $11M to expand manufacturing and scale production

Aerospace startup Jeh Aerospace has raised $11 million in a Series A funding round, led by Elevation Capital and joined by its current investor, General Catalyst.

The company said it will use the money to build large factories and improve its tech-driven manufacturing process to make production more reliable and scalable.

“We will be investing significantly in our capabilities from this round across operations and technology and continue building strong teams in the US and India,” said CEO Vishal Sanghavi.

“Their software-defined manufacturing model addresses a fundamental challenge in the industry—the need for both precision and agility in production. What impresses us most is their ability to combine cutting-edge technology with deep manufacturing expertise, creating a solution that the global aerospace supply chain desperately needs,” said Ashray Iyengar, Principal, Elevation Capital.

Akarsh Shrivastava, Partner at General Catalyst, said, “Their software-defined manufacturing approach and proven delivery demonstrate the scalable, reliable production the aerospace industry needs. By harnessing exceptional engineering talent with proximity to US markets, Jeh is reshaping aerospace manufacturing.”

Jeh Aerospace was founded in 2022 by Vishal R. Sanghavi and Venkatesh Mudragalla. The company is based in Hyderabad, India.

It focuses on making high-precision, flight-critical parts, tools, and assemblies for major global aerospace companies and tier-I/II suppliers.

Jeh Aerospace works with both the aerospace and defence sectors. So far, the company has delivered over 100,000 components and tools, and has secured long-term contracts worth $100 million.

In early 2024, the startup raised $2.75 million in seed funding led by General Catalyst. Since then, it has grown to a team of over 100 people and continued to expand its work with major global aerospace companies.
