Egyptian startup Zaher AI has raised $150,000 in funding, with angel investor Dr. Ahmed Samy, founder of Eye Advertising, joining the round.
Zaher AI is also joining Miska AI Venture Studio to help expand its business in the region.
Anwar Aly, founder and CEO of Zaher AI, said the company will look for more funding once their product is ready and stable.
The funding news came at the same time as Zaher AI’s official launch in the Arab region.
It is the first platform specialized in Generative Engine Optimization, a new approach that focuses on improving visibility on AI platforms instead of regular search engines.
According to the CEO, the target market includes over 400 million Arab users in the Middle East and North Africa.
Worldwide spending on improving visibility through traditional search engines (SEO) is expected to reach around $106 billion in 2025.
Zaher AI works with different types of businesses, including media and news platforms, real estate and consulting firms, online stores, and companies that want to add G.E.O technologies to their products.
