The first two bootcamps, held at PUP and FEU, drew close to 500 students. Sessions covered financial goal-setting and savings, as well as advanced topics such as investment psychology.
“Many young Filipinos are eager to learn how to manage their money but don’t always have access to the right platforms and guidance,” said John Garcia, Head of Customer Success for Wealth Management at GCash. “By making financial literacy more engaging and accessible, we want to help the next generation of young Filipinos build the confidence to save and invest.”
The on-site programme also offers support for students to register for GCash services such as GSave and GInvest.
