TERN Group Secures $24 Million Series A Funding Led by Notion Capital

TERN Group, a UK-based global talent mobility platform, has raised US$24 million in a Series A round led by Notion Capital.

Other investors in the round include RTP Global, LocalGlobe, EQ2 Ventures, and Leo Capital, along with existing supporters such as Presight, Tom Stafford (Co-founder of DST Global), and senior healthcare policymakers.

With this round, the company’s total funding has reached US$33 million. The new funds will help TERN expand into new markets enhance its AI-powered Clinical Workforce platform, and grow its training programs.

Avinav Nigam, Founder and CEO of TERN Group, said, “With India’s talent at the heart of our mission, TERN Group is building the workforce infrastructure that makes global healthcare careers seamless, transparent, and trusted. This funding allows us to double down on three priorities: expanding into new geographies, investing further in our AI platform, and scaling our training and operations to support thousands more professionals every year.”

TERN was founded in 2023 by Avinav Nigam and Krishna Ramkumar, who previously worked at Urban Company and Cars24.

The platform helps Indian nurses and care workers find global job opportunities through transparent hiring, AI-based job matching, and zero recruitment fees.

The platform is focused on ethical job placements in international markets, with a special focus on Europe and the GCC.

TERN grew 10x last year, reaching almost INR 200 crore in annualized revenue. It now operates in 13 countries, including India, the UK, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

More than 650,000 professionals are registered on the platform, and TERN has partnerships with NSDC, TNAI, and several state governments to expand training and compliance.
