HoneyBook, an AI-based business management platform for small business owners, has acquihired the founding team of Fine.dev, a startup that focuses on AI-assisted coding and fast app development. The financial details of the deal were not shared.
Fine.dev, founded by engineers and entrepreneurs Haggai Hofland, Jonathan Harel, and Dan Leshem, created AI-assisted tools that turn business ideas into working software prototypes in minutes. This process is called “vibe coding.”
By joining HoneyBook’s product and development teams, the founders aim to bring this technology into HoneyBook’s platform, allowing small businesses to easily customize applications and workflows.
HoneyBook first introduced its AI-powered business management platform in March 2025, adding features like automatic email drafting, dynamic daily task lists, and detailed operational reports.
With Fine.dev joining the team, HoneyBook now plans to expand these features, helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into working software tools without needing traditional coding skills.
“By bringing in the Fine.dev team, we’re adding unique AI expertise that will help us build and deploy new capabilities faster than traditional development allows,” said Oz Alon, CEO and co-founder of HoneyBook. “Ultimately, this empowers our members with more powerful tools to manage their businesses on their own terms.”
Recent HoneyBook AI improvements have transformed the platform into a fully agentic system, where the AI can independently choose and manage tools to handle member requests.
This upgrade allows HoneyBook to perform more complex tasks, like creating integrations and automating administrative workflows that members used to do by hand.
According to the company, members using AI now book 2.5 times more projects, generate 2.3 times more profitable leads, and save over 20 hours per week on administrative work.
