Spacial, an AI startup that helps automate home construction planning and building permits in the U.S., has raised $10 million in seed funding. The round was led by TLV Partners, with support from Mango Capital, Re Angels, and HTV.
Spacial’s platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) to handle engineering tasks in construction projects automatically. It connects with the design tools that architects already use, making the process smooth and efficient.
The system can turn simple 2D drawings into detailed 3D building plans that follow local construction rules. It also checks for issues in structural, electrical, and plumbing designs, helping spot and fix problems before the plans are submitted.
The technology helps cut down design costs and speeds up how quickly construction projects are completed. This makes the entire process more efficient for builders and architects.
It also supports sustainability by improving accuracy in construction, which reduces material waste and the need to redo work, leading to smarter and cleaner building practices.
Spacial was started by Maor Greenberg, who is the Co-Founder and CEO. He has a strong background in construction and real estate, having worked with the Greenberg Group in Palo Alto.
The other Co-Founder is Ami Avrahami, who is also the Chief Product Officer. He was one of the founders of Veev — a company that once became a unicorn (valued at over $1 billion) before it eventually shut down.
“The residential construction process has been stuck in the same slow, manual loop for decades,” said Maor Greenberg, Co-Founder and CEO of Spacial. “Spacial brings the art of AI automation to building, transforming how plans are engineered, coordinated, and approved. By eliminating obstacles and reducing costly errors, we’re giving builders and architects the control, speed, confidence, and time for creativity they need to deliver quality housing faster, while helping communities make homeownership more affordable.”
