GFTN Capital and Accion Partner to Boost Inclusive Fintech Innovation

GFTN Capital, a growth-equity venture firm under the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), has announced a partnership with Accion, a global nonprofit that supports innovative financial service providers.

Through this partnership, GFTN Capital and Accion aim to bring more funding to digital finance and inclusive fintech companies that help people and communities with limited access to financial services.

Together, they plan to connect key industry players and promote new solutions that support the growth of inclusive finance around the world.

Headquartered in Singapore, GFTN Capital leverages GFTN’s global network of innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors across more than 130 countries.

The firm aims to give investors early access to fast-growing fintech startups and emerging opportunities. It will support its portfolio companies with funding, market knowledge, and access to a strong global network of industry partners.

According to Neil Parekh, Deputy Chairman of GFTN, this approach will help accelerate growth and innovation in the fintech ecosystem.

GFTN and the Centre for Financial Inclusion, a research think tank under Accion, plan to co-host the 2026 Responsible Finance Forum in Singapore.

The event will focus on encouraging discussions and building practical frameworks that promote responsible innovation and digital inclusion in the financial sector.
