Finmo Partners with Standard Chartered to Launch Global Currency Accounts and API Treasury Solutions

Finmo, a modern Treasury Operating System for global businesses, has partnered with Standard Chartered, a leading international bank, to launch Global Currency Account (GCA) services.

This new feature helps businesses manage money coming in and going out, handle foreign exchange, and maintain better control and visibility over their finances across different markets.

The partnership was announced at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2025. It allows Finmo customers to open and manage multi-currency accounts starting in Singapore, with future plans to expand to the UAE, Hong Kong SAR, and the UK.

By using Standard Chartered’s global network, Finmo’s Smart Treasury platform will make it easier for businesses to move money worldwide and get a clear view of their cash and liquidity across countries and currencies.

“By connecting Standard Chartered’s global infrastructure with Finmo’s Smart Treasury platform, businesses can simplify global money movement and gain real-time visibility across entities and currencies. Together, we’re giving finance teams greater transparency, control, and foresight over liquidity,” said Richard Oh, Co-founder and Head of Strategy & Network Partnerships at Finmo.

By integrating Standard Chartered’s banking APIs, Finmo now has direct access to multi-market currency accounts and high-level banking infrastructure — something only a few treasury platforms offer.

This allows finance teams to transfer money securely, manage foreign exchange risks more effectively, and get clear insights into their cash flow and liquidity — all without needing to use multiple bank portals or complicated workflows.

“At Standard Chartered, we are committed to enabling the next generation of digital-first financial infrastructure,” said Luke Boland, Head of Fintech, ASEAN, South Asia and GCNA at Standard Chartered. “Our collaboration with Finmo reflects our shared vision of helping businesses gain faster access to multi-currency liquidity, while improving transparency and control across global operations. Together, we’re unlocking a smarter, more connected treasury experience for modern enterprises.”

Finmo is a global fintech company that helps modern finance teams better manage their cash and treasury operations.

The company was founded by David Hanna, Akhil Nigam, Richard Oh, Raj Vimal Chopra, and Thomas Kang. Finmo is designed specifically for today’s cross-border businesses.

Its Treasury Operating System connects data from different sources like bank accounts, accounting software, ERP systems, and other financial tools.

This gives CFOs and finance leaders real-time visibility, better control, and smarter insights to make faster, more informed financial decisions.
