Secure.com, a cybersecurity startup based in Dubai, has raised $4.5 million from MENA venture builder Disrupt.com. The funding will help the company grow and promote its AI-powered “Digital Security Teammate” platform. This platform uses AI agents that act like digital coworkers supporting small or busy cloud-based security teams.
These AI teammates help teams manage large numbers of security alerts, follow regulations, and deal with staffing shortages. Early users in finance, healthcare, and tech are already using the platform. Secure.com now plans to expand its reach across the GCC, Asia-Pacific, and the United States.
According to IBM’s Cost of a Data Breach Report 2025, data breaches in the U.S. have reached a record high cost of $10.22 million, while breaches in the Middle East average $7.29 million. Even with these high losses, only 49% of affected companies plan to increase their security budgets. At the same time, hiring cybersecurity experts can take five months, salaries often exceed $300,000 a year, and older security processes are failing more often.
Cybersecurity teams are under extreme pressure. A survey by Object First found that 84% of security professionals feel highly stressed, and nearly 60% are thinking about leaving their jobs. This level of burnout and turnover is weakening company security from within, even as cyber threats grow stronger.
Many organizations are losing skilled workers faster than they can replace them. As talent drains and workloads increase, teams struggle to respond quickly and accurately to threats, increasing the risk of major security failures.
“Security teams are drowning. We are giving them oxygen,” said Uzair Gadit, CEO of Secure.com. “The industry does not need another tool. It needs teammates. We built Digital Security Teammates to work like real colleagues. They take the night shift, clear the queue, and catch what humans miss while explaining every action. One Digital Security Teammate matches the workload of an L1 analyst and security engineer combined, at a fraction of the cost.”
Secure.com, founded by Uzair Gadit, is a cybersecurity startup that creates AI agents that work like real security analysts. These digital teammates are designed for companies that don’t have big security teams. The company’s goal is to deliver strong, enterprise-level protection without requiring a large staff.
