SynaXG Technologies, a deep-tech startup from Singapore, has successfully raised over $20 million in its first funding round.
The round was led by January Capital Growth Credit, Vertex Ventures, and Qualgro, making it one of the biggest early-stage investments in AI-RAN in Asia. According to the company, this funding strengthens SynaXG’s position as an emerging global leader in AI-powered wireless infrastructure.
The money will be used to speed up product development, grow global engineering teams, and build stronger partnerships with telecom operators and enterprise clients around the world.
To meet rising demand and expand its services globally, SynaXG is also preparing for a Series A funding round to scale commercial deployments and promote the adoption of AI-native radio access networks (RAN) in international markets.
“We believe AI-RAN is the foundation of the next technology revolution – much like the iPhone reshaped the mobile era. With four years of pioneering work and strong global partners, we are ready to scale and lead the next generation of AI-native wireless networks and Physical AI,” said Xin Huang, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, SynaXG.
Heang Chhor, Managing Partner, Qualgro, said the firm believes that SynaXG’s team’s deep AI capabilities will position the company well to capture significant opportunities in a market driven by demand for significantly more computing capacity.
This shift marks the beginning of the Physical AI era, where artificial intelligence interacts directly with the real world through robotics, autonomous systems, drones, industrial automation and smart devices. These applications demand ultra-low latency, high reliability and real-time adaptability making AI-RAN a critical infrastructure for their success.
The global significance of AI-RAN has been underscored by major investments, such as NVIDIA’s $1 billion funding in Nokia for AI-RAN development, highlighting the rapid growth and potential of this technology category.
SynaXG’s team has spent nearly four years developing and perfecting AI-RAN solutions. Today, the company works with leading AI-RAN chip manufacturers, network equipment providers, and telecom operators as its customers and partners.
