Shapes, a startup from Tel Aviv, Israel (formerly called DreamTeam), is creating an AI-based PeopleOS. The company has raised $24 million in Seed and Series A funding.
The Series A funding was led by Entrée Capital, with NFX and F2 Venture Capital also participating—they had led the Seed round.
Shapes plans to use the money to more than double its team in the next year and grow into new markets.
“It means that you can manage your employees your own way. You can install different apps and agents in order to do the job for you,” Shapes cofounder and CEO Arnon Nir
Shapes was founded by Arnon Nir (CEO) and Shirley Baumer (CPO). The company offers a platform that acts as a fully flexible “people operating system” for HR, IT, and Finance.
The platform automates complex tasks like onboarding, performance management, and compensation. It also lets companies create their own apps and tools that fit the way they actually work.
With Shapes’ platform, employees can request vacation from anywhere, clock in remotely, or quickly get answers about company policies and HR questions using an AI assistant.
HR teams can create time-off and performance policies, run smart review cycles that turn feedback into insights, and automatically calculate payroll hours. The platform also includes features for retention, salary analytics, DEI tracking, engagement, and documentation.
Shapes already works with hundreds of customers in 14 industries and 79 countries. Some of its customers are Quantum Machines, NextSilicon, Healthee, Arena Entertainment, and Imagen.
