Aspire Secures Major Licenses in Australia, EU, and US to Expand Globally

Aspire, a Singapore-based fintech company, has announced key regulatory achievements that mark a significant step in its global expansion.

In the past year, the company has obtained eight licenses and registrations, expanding its presence in Australia, Europe, and the United States. These milestones set the stage for its next phase of growth in major financial markets around the world.

Australia: Aspire has received a full Australian Financial Services License (AFSL). This allows the company to directly offer its complete financial services to Australian businesses. These services include multi-currency accounts, payments, cards, and spend management, giving companies a modern and all-in-one finance platform.

Europe: Aspire has secured an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license, officially entering the European Union. It has also signed an investment agreement with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and chosen the Netherlands as its European base. This enables Aspire to provide business accounts across Europe.

United States: In the U.S., Aspire has registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) and as a Registered Investment Adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). These approvals allow Aspire to expand its financial services for U.S. companies and support its planned launch in the U.S. in 2026.

“Our clients are digital-savvy, international, and have high expectations of service quality. We’re building Aspire to be their all-in-one global finance stack,” said Andrea Baronchelli, Co-Founder and CEO of Aspire. “These milestones strengthen the regulatory foundation we need to deliver unified, intelligent infrastructure for their cross-border financial needs, while bringing our Financial Operating System to thousands of businesses in these new markets.”

Aspire is an all-in-one finance platform built for modern businesses around the world. It has helped over 50,000 companies save time and money by offering services such as international payments, treasury management, expense tracking, and payable and receivable solutions—all available through one easy-to-use account.

Based in Singapore, Aspire has more than 600 employees across nine countries and serves customers in over 30 markets. The company is backed by leading global investors, including Sequoia, Lightspeed, Y Combinator, Tencent, and PayPal.
