WickedGud raises INR 20 crore round Orios Venture Partners, others

WickedGud, a direct-to-consumer food brand, has raised INR 20 crore in its latest funding round.

The round was backed by existing investors such as Orios Venture Partners, Asiana Fund, and Shilpa Shetty. New investors also joined, including Shajikumar Devakar, Co-Founder of Neo Wealth Management; Ajay Mehta, former Content Head at WPP; Sonika Ravula, General Partner at Optional Gravity; and Rahul Colaco, CEO at Fraser & Neave (F&N).

The fresh capital will be used to expand WickedGud’s presence across modern retail stores, local shops, and online platforms, while also strengthening its supply chain and backend operations.

A portion of the funds will go toward faster product development, with a strong focus on high-growth segments such as cup noodles and Korean-style spicy noodles.

Bhuman Dani, Founder & CEO, WickedGud, said in a statement: “The last 12 months have been pivotal for WickedGud. We have delivered 3x revenue growth, expanded our footprint to over 5,000 retail stores, and successfully entered new high-velocity formats. This funding allows us to scale with discipline, strengthen our go to market engine and build a brand that consistently delivers on taste, nutrition and affordability for India’s next generation of consumers.”

Rehan Yar Khan, Managing Partner, Orios Venture Partners, said: “WickedGud’s strong execution, rapid growth across channels, and category-leading innovations in cup noodles and Korean spicy formats make them one of the most exciting emerging FMCG brands in India. We are doubling down because their trajectory, market share gains, and brand love clearly demonstrate they are building a household name in the making.”

Founded in 2021 by Bhuman Dani, WickedGud is a direct-to-consumer startup focused on making everyday food healthier, beginning with instant meals.

WickedGud uses wholesome ingredients along with a special steaming and air-drying process. This helps reduce unhealthy elements in the food while keeping the taste intact.

The company operates in the competitive instant noodles and pasta market, where taste, price, and easy availability matter most. By improving everyday food without positioning itself as an expensive premium brand, WickedGud attracts a wide range of consumers.

WickedGud sells its products on major online and quick-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto, BigBasket, and Flipkart.

The brand also has a strong offline presence in over 5,000 retail stores across India, including more than 1,500 Reliance Smart Bazaar locations and 50 DMart outlets.
