Prosperr.io, a startup that uses AI for tax management, has raised $4 million in a seed funding round led by Jungle Ventures. Other investors, including Yatra Angel Network and Sadev Ventures also took part in the round.
The startup will use the funds to speed up product development, improve its AI features, and expand its B2B sales. It is also planning to explore related areas, such as wealth management.
Since its inceptionthe company has raised a total of $5.55 million. In August last year, Prosperr secured $1.55 million in a pre-seed round led by Gokul Rajaram, a board member at Pinterest and Coinbase.
“We are trying to ensure that whatever financial requirements a salaried individual has — whether taxation or wealth planning — Prosperr is the subscription-based platform to address their day-to-day needs,” cofounder and chief executive Manas Gond said.
“Tax is one of the most under innovated layers of financial infrastructure, and the complexity only compounds as individuals earn across multiple streams and businesses operate global workflows,” said Rishab Malik, partner, seed investments, Jungle Ventures.
Prosperr.io was founded in 2022 by Manas Gond and Dev Kumar.
The company offers AI-powered software that helps individuals and businesses with tax planning, compliance and employee reimbursements.
Prosperr.io makes financial management easier with automated tax deductions, filings, and corporate tax processes. The platform also offers subscription-based advisory services for individuals and smooth, efficient solutions for businesses.
The company has around 150 employees and keeps about 80% of its individual users, with all of its enterprise clients staying on board.
