Doctor Anywhere, a leading digital healthcare company, and Lumens Group, a top mobility solutions provider in Singapore, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to take their partnership to the next level. The goal is to improve home-based healthcare services across Singapore.
Through this partnership, Doctor Anywhere’s Doctor House Call service will work with Lumens Group’s mobility services, provided through its platform Lylo. This will help doctors and healthcare workers travel safely and reliably to patients’ homes, making home healthcare smoother and more dependable.
With national programmes like Age Well SG, Singapore is encouraging people to age at home and receive more healthcare services at home. Because of this, the healthcare system is shifting focus from hospitals and clinics to stronger community-based care.
For many patients and caregivers, travelling to a clinic or hospital can be difficult, stressful, or disruptive. That’s why having reliable support on the ground is important to make sure patients continue to receive proper care at home.
Under this partnership, Lumens Group, which manages one of the largest vehicle fleets in Singapore, provides professionally managed transport for Doctor Anywhere’s medical teams.
This helps Doctor Anywhere’s doctors reach patients more easily, improve scheduling, and serve more people at home. As a result, medical teams can focus more on patient care while expanding access to home-based healthcare in a reliable and long-term way.
“For healthcare to work, it must first be accessible. It doesn’t happen only when a doctor arrives; it begins the moment someone decides, ‘I need care’. Preventive care and continuity of care within communities are essential to keeping society healthy,” said Ms. Ivin Yew, Chief Executive Officer, General Health Services, Doctor Anywhere. “For families with newborns, parents managing infant vaccinations, seniors ageing at home, or patients recovering after treatment, access to reliable and coordinated care where they live matters deeply. This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting care that fits into real lives.”
“Mobility is often the invisible infrastructure that enables essential services – it’s more than movement, it creates access,” said Mr. Marcus Low, Group Head of Business Development, Lumens Group. “This partnership reflects Lumens Group’s commitment to building resilient systems that improve lives and strengthen communities. By supporting healthcare professionals as they deliver care in the community, we are contributing to a system that brings medical support closer to families and individuals in their everyday environments.”
