A47 has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding to speed up the development of its AI-powered news platform. The platform aims to improve how people find, understand, and trust news and information.
“This company is being built as a long-term media infrastructure company with the ambition to help shape how verified information is delivered,” said Shehab Gargash, Chairman & Co-Founder of A47.
At its core, A47 uses AI to automatically collect, study, and verify news in real time. It brings together different AI systems that work together to verify facts, compare multiple sources, and clearly show the sources of information.
This built-in verification helps build trust and makes it faster and easier for people to stay informed, without feeling overwhelmed by too much information.
Shehab Gargash, Chairman & Co-Founder A47, said: “This company is being built as a long-term media infrastructure company with the ambition to help shape how verified information is delivered. A47 News aims to work within the noble profession of journalism by leveraging the immense power of technology to improve integrity, efficiency and trust.”
Ali Rizvi, CEO and Co-Founder of A47 News: “We want to be the news infrastructure layer that publishers and creators can trust. We don’t replace editorial judgment. We help teams move faster with verified facts and content that stays on brand.”
Ali Rizvi and Shehab Gargash co-founded A47. It is a Web3, AI-powered news platform that aims to solve problems like scattered news feeds, misinformation, and noisy algorithms.
The startup plans to build a single, AI-driven news source focused on clear, accurate, and relevant information, rather than chasing clicks or engagement.
