Thai Paiboon Insurance Public Company Limited (TPB), a non-life insurance company from Thailand, has entered into a strategic partnership with Mpire Mobility Sdn Bhd a subsidiary of Greentronics Technology Berhad. The partnership aims to provide digital insurance solutions for Malaysian motorists travelling to Thailand.

According to both companies, the main goal is to create a digital platform that improves confidence and convenience for Malaysian customers if their vehicles are involved in accidents while in Thailand.

The new digital solutions will help reduce language barriers, improve communication, and make the insurance claims process simpler and faster, easing common concerns for drivers in a foreign country.

Founded in 2017, Mpire Mobility started as an IoT-based company focused on making vehicle ownership easier, improving road safety, and supporting cross-border travel. It runs a single digital platform that connects motorists, workshops, and fleet operators helping with vehicle servicing, insurance claims, and after-sales management.

“This partnership reflects TPB’s continued commitment to enhance customer protection via digital innovation and practical cross-border solutions. By collaborating with Mpire Mobility, we are able to extend our insurance services beyond national boundaries, providing Malaysian motorists travelling in Thailand with greater clarity, confidence, and support in the event of an accident.

“The integration of digital platforms and coordinated aftersales processes allows us to improve communication, streamline claims handling, and deliver a more seamless experience for customers when it matters most,” said Eugene Foong, Managing Director of Thai Paiboon Insurance Public Company Limited.

Billy Goh Soo Wee, Executive Chairman of Greentronics and Managing Director of Mpire Mobility, said the partnership is focused on providing smooth cross-border travel and easy insurance claims support for Malaysian motorists.
