Decube, a Malaysia-based company that focuses on data trust and artificial intelligence, has raised $3 million in a fresh funding round.
The investment was led by Taiwania Hive Ventures, with participation from Iterative and 500 Global.
The company said the funding will help it grow globally, improve its products, and expand faster across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Many businesses in the area are preparing to use AI with reliable and trusted data.
Decube plans to invest in better product features, build regional partnerships, and support more enterprise customers as demand for large-scale AI adoption continues to grow.
“Decube was founded on a simple insight: enterprises can’t scale AI without a trusted context layer across their data,” founder and CEO Jatin Solanki said, adding that businesses are racing to deploy AI but often lack the foundations that make it reliable.
As companies spend more on AI, many are realizing an important fact: AI works well only when it clearly understands the data it uses.
Even though businesses have modern data systems, they often don’t have a single way to know what their data really means, where it comes from, how it changes, or whether it can be trusted.
Decube is solving this problem by building a “context layer” for data. This layer sits between raw data and AI or analytics tools and explains the data clearly and reliably.
This context layer automatically tracks data ownership, quality, usage rules, and data history without manual notes or scattered tools.
By bringing all data understanding into a single system, Decube helps companies move AI projects from testing to real-world use with confidence, using trusted, explainable data.
