Dono is an AI-based platform that helps modernize property records in the real estate sector. The startup has raised $6.5 million in a Seed funding round, taking its total funding to $10.2 million.

The funding round was led by Link Ventures, with support from lool VC and Alumni Ventures.

The U.S. real estate market is worth over $50 trillion, making it the largest asset class in the world. However, property records are still kept in separate county offices, many using systems that are hundreds of years old. Because of this, checking who owns a property is often slow, costly, and unclear.

Around 14% of property deals are delayed by several days due to title and ownership issues, which makes fast transactions hard. Dono already works with records from more than 700 counties and is building flexible systems that make property data easy to access through simple tools and APIs.

“The gap isn’t just technology. Plenty of tools exist. But they aren’t built on modern infrastructure,” said Tali Gross, CEO and co-founder of Dono. “Our mission is to fundamentally improve the home closing experience by giving everyone involved, the title professionals, lenders, buyers, servicers, the certainty they need without the friction that’s been accepted as ‘just how it works’ for decades.”

“Organizations face an impossible tradeoff: accuracy, speed, or cost…pick one, maybe two,” Gross said. “We eliminate that choice.” According to the company, the platform can deliver turnaround times up to 80% faster and allow customers to triple capacity without adding headcount.

Dono’s platform brings together four main features. It collects property data from different counties, uses AI to read and organize complex documents, and applies expert knowledge through AI that adjusts to local rules and standards.

The platform also delivers data in a way that fits each customer’s workflow. To ensure trust and accuracy, every step is supported by human verification, making sure property records remain correct and reliable.

Dono is based in Tel Aviv and also operates in Palm Beach, Florida. The company is advised by experienced industry leaders, including Shay Wininger, co-founder and president of Lemonade, and Matan Bar, co-founder and CEO of Melio.
