MEASAT Appoints John Loke As Chief Technology Officer

MEASAT Global Berhad has appointed John Loke as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

In this role, John Loke will lead the company’s technology plans and help drive its long-term growth.

He will focus on improving digital systems, using AI solutions, and expanding the company’s presence across different regions.

As CTO, he will oversee key teams like Satellite and Network Engineering & Operations, as well as Information Technology and Digital Transformation. He will also handle technical work related to satellites and launch projects.

John has worked with MEASAT before for about 10 years in senior roles, including Vice President of Network Engineering & Operations and Customer Engineering.

During his earlier time at the company, he contributed to major projects such as MEASAT-3a, MEASAT-3b, and CONNECTme.

Most recently, John Loke worked as CTO at a Singapore-based satellite company, where he helped deliver high-speed internet across the Asia-Pacific region.

He started his career at Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (SingTel), where he was involved in launching the ST-1 satellite operations.
