Dataiku has appointed Andrew Boyd as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Asia Pacific and Japan region. He will lead the company’s strategy and operations across areas like ASEAN, South Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
In his role, Boyd will work on growing the company’s presence and helping more businesses use its services. He will also focus on building strong partnerships in the region.
The goal is to help organisations use AI in a proper and scalable way, while making sure it delivers clear and measurable business results.
“The APJ region is moving from AI ambition to AI accountability and the challenge now is scaling AI in a way that is governed and tied to real business outcomes,” said Phil Coady, chief revenue officer at Dataiku. “Andrew has a strong track record of building high-performing businesses in complex markets, and his leadership will be key as we help customers make AI a core part of how they operate.”
According to Dataiku, Boyd has more than 20 years of experience in leading enterprise technology businesses across the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
He has worked on improving business strategies, growing operations in different regions, and building strong relationships with customers, partners, and government organisations, even in highly regulated markets.
“Having spent my career helping organisations scale technology across APJ, I’ve seen that success in this region requires more than innovation— it demands strong governance, local expertise, and a clear link to business outcomes,” Boyd said. “As AI adoption accelerates, organisations are under pressure to move beyond experimentation and deliver real value. Dataiku is uniquely positioned to support that shift, giving enterprises the control, flexibility, and trust they need to operationalise AI at scale.”
Dataiku said it works with over 750 organisations around the world.
The company made this appointment at a time when businesses in the region are paying more attention to the results they get from AI investments, as well as the need for proper control, governance, and risk management when using AI at a large scale.
