OnSite, a construction software startup from Singapore, has raised S$1.7 million (about US$1.3 million) in a seed funding round led by Tin Men Capital.
The company will use this money to grow and improve its product across Southeast Asia.
The startup solves a major problem in Singapore’s construction industry—poor communication and information management. It uses an AI-powered messaging platform that helps teams communicate easily, organize information, and keep proper records that can also be used legally if needed.
Singapore’s construction industry is very large, worth around S$53 billion. It is expected to stay between S$47 billion and S$53 billion in 2026, making it an important part of the country’s economy.
Even though the industry is so big, it still uses outdated methods like WhatsApp groups, phone calls, and paper documents for communication on-site, instead of modern digital tools.
“The core problem in construction is that documentation and communication are chaotic, unsearchable, and disconnected from the physical worksite, often resulting in costly disputes, delays, and lawsuits,” said Poh Yong Han, CEO and Co-Founder of OnSite. “We are building a data management layer that will anchor every message, every photo, every voice note automatically to exactly where and when it happened, without training to use.”
“We’re bringing consumer-grade UX to B2B software. The interface has to be as intuitive as the apps our users already know, but the backend has to do serious, enterprise-grade work,” said Liam Appelson, CPO and Co-Founder of OnSite. “If it takes training, we’ve failed.”
“While we have seen the construction industry accelerate digital adoption, it needs tools built for its specific and complex workflows, within the cultural context of Southeast Asia,” said Jeremy Tan, Co-founder of Tin Men Capital. “OnSite’s product-led approach, combined with the founders’ unique domain expertise, presents a massive opportunity to transform the operating system for construction and facilities management across the region, shaping how AI creates value for a trillion-dollar global industry.”
Founded by Poh Yong Han and Liam Appelson, OnSite is an AI-native, voice-first messaging platform designed for blue-collar workers. It helps construction and facility management teams communicate more easily, keep records without extra effort, and manage projects more smoothly. With OnSite, chats automatically become a stored record, so nothing gets lost.
Investors like Tin Men Capital, Alter Global, Gondor Capital, and Hustle Fund back the company.
