Tsecond.ai raises $21.5 million round led by MSN Holdings

Tsecond.ai, a company that builds large-scale storage and AI systems, has raised over US$21.5 million (about ₹190 crore) in funding.

The investment was led by MSN Holdings, the family office of Solar Industries India’s MD and CEO, Manish Nuwal.

This funding came in multiple stages over the past two years and will be used to expand the company’s work in defence and key AI projects.

“The security environment is more complex and more demanding than at any point in recent decades. Nations are investing heavily in the capabilities that will matter in that environment, and edge compute infrastructure is the lynchpin for operating in a contested battlefield. Tsecond.ai is building a foundational piece of that stack. Our investment in Tsecond.ai is based on their strong growth to date and market traction supporting some of the largest transformation programs in defense in the U.S., UK, India and Europe,” said Mr. Manish Nuwal, Managing Director & CEO of Solar Industries.

“This investment reflects deep confidence in our mission and in the global demand driving it. Defense and security organizations worldwide are operating in environments that require AI capability at the edge, not dependence on connectivity that may not exist. Tsecond.ai’s BRYCK® platform was purpose-built for that reality,” said Dr. Raj Iyer, Global President, Public Sector, Tsecond.ai.

Founded by Sahil Chawla, Tsecond.ai builds data and computing systems that work at the edge (on-site), mainly for defence, aerospace, and businesses.

Its main product, BRYCK, helps collect and process data very fast, even in places where there is no internet or cloud access.

The company’s technology is already being used in defence programs in countries like the US, UK, India, and across Europe.

Overall, Tsecond.ai focuses on helping systems process data in real time in remote or disconnected areas where cloud solutions don’t work well.

In India, Tsecond.ai is part of a growing defence and AI ecosystem. Other companies in this space include ideaForge (which makes surveillance drones), Tonbo Imaging (which builds advanced imaging and sensor systems), Zuppa (which works on real-time drone AI), and Craic Precision (which develops AI-based battlefield and edge computing solutions).
