Accelerated Infrastructure Capital to Build $2.1B AI Data Center in Ho Chi Minh City

Accelerated Infrastructure Capital (AIC), based in Hong Kong, plans to help build a $2.1 billion AI data center in Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam.

The company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology to move the project forward.

The project will be developed together with KinhBac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC), a major industrial real estate developer in Vietnam.

The groundbreaking ceremony is planned for April 30, an important national holiday in Vietnam. The project’s funding is expected to be fully invested by the end of the first quarter of 2027.

In the first phase, the project will build an AI data center with up to 50MW capacity, equal to about 28,000 GPUs. This facility will provide computing power for AI and high-performance computing needs for customers both in Vietnam and internationally.

Accelerated Infrastructure Capital is a global investment and advisory platform focused on data centers and digital infrastructure. The company invests in and supports new digital infrastructure projects, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets around the world.
