Singapore-based AI video startup Video Rebirth has raised $50 million in fresh funding.
The funding round saw participation from several global investors, showing growing interest in the company’s AI-powered video technology.
Founded by Dr. Wei Liu, Video Rebirth is an AI company focused on creating advanced video generation models.
The startup is developing new systems that combine realistic visuals, smart reasoning, and creative control to make AI-generated content more natural and interactive.
Video Rebirth says it was started to create a new kind of “world model” for AI video generation — one that focuses on making videos look more cinematic and realistic than current systems.
Unlike regular AI video tools, this model aims to show real-life movement, lighting, and detail more naturally.
The company’s special technology, called “Physics Native Attention,” helps AI render light, shadows, and object interactions with lifelike accuracy, fixing the flat or fake look seen in most AI videos today.
Video Rebirth plans to launch its first product next month, built using its new AI video technology.
With this launch, the company aims to join the new generation of startups working to make AI-generated videos reach film-level quality and realism.
The company says its special technology can create videos that look more real, move more smoothly, and follow natural physics better.
