AiSeed offers a range of products, including an edge-computing AI recognition platform, an all-in-one drone surveillance system, and AI-powered visual navigation algorithms.
AiSeed Tech, a startup from Taiwan that builds AI-powered drones that can fly on their own, has raised $6 million in a pre-Series A/seed funding round.
The funding was led by PEGATRON Corporation, a global leader in electronics manufacturing, with more support from the international venture capital firm SparkLabs Taiwan.
The new funding will help AiSeed grow internationally, especially in the US and Europe. It will also improve their production and speed up their technology development.
Since its inception, AiSeed has focused on creating its own AI navigation system. This technology allows drones to fly independently, even without GPS signals. The system uses advanced AI chips and flight control tech to achieve fast reaction times, real-time environmental analysis and independent decision-making.
These features make AiSeed’s drones ideal for demanding tasks like defense, energy infrastructure inspections, and urban air mobility.
The company offers a range of products, including an edge-computing AI recognition platform, an all-in-one drone surveillance solution, and AI-powered visual navigation algorithms.
According to a press release, AiSeed has reached significant milestones, such as passing strict defense tests and winning official contracts, proving the strength and reliability of its technology.
AiSeed Tech CEO Joe Wang commented on the sector’s challenges, saying, “Creating autonomous drone technology has always been tough because it takes a lot of time and resources to develop physical AI.
To support its global growth, AiSeed plans to open a branch in the US and partner with local organizations in defense, public safety, and homeland security. The company has also signed several agreements to help it enter the market more smoothly.
At the same time, AiSeed is forming local teams and hiring US and European sales representatives.
AiSeed is working to meet international supply chain standards by teaming up with trusted suppliers, offering quick local technical support, and ensuring smooth logistics. The company plans to accelerate its market entry by participating in industry events and forming strategic partnerships with system integrators.
AiSeed has added Monica Lee as the new COO to its leadership team. She will focus on improving operations and leading strategies to help the company expand into new markets.
