Alibaba Cloud to Invest Over $60 Million Next Year to Boost Global AI Innovation

Alibaba Cloud, the tech arm of Alibaba Group, announced on Thursday that it will invest over $60 million in the next fiscal year. The goal is to support its partner network and boost innovation in artificial intelligence (AI).

The investment will be strategically allocated to collaborative marketing campaigns, incentive rebate programs and capability-building initiatives, fostering mutually beneficial growth between the cloud provider and its partners, the firm stated in a press release. 

This investment is meant to help Alibaba Cloud’s partners reach more customers, improve their technical skills, and speed up the use of advanced cloud and AI tools for businesses around the world.

“Our partners are the catalysts for customer success, and this significant investment is a testament to our commitment to a shared growth model,” said Raymond Ma, Vice President of Global Partners & Alliances, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence.

“By equipping our partners with advanced resources, dedicated incentives, and direct access to our cutting-edge AI technologies like our Qwen large language models, we are not just building a channel,

“Together, we are fostering a synergistic ecosystem that will accelerate digital transformation and unlock new possibilities for businesses globally in the AI era,” he added.

Dify, a leading platform for building AI-powered apps, has partnered with Alibaba Cloud to launch Dify Enterprise on the Alibaba Cloud Global Marketplace.

This partnership combines Dify’s smart AI tools with Alibaba Cloud’s strong infrastructure and AI platform Model Studio. The goal is to make it easier and faster for companies to build and use AI apps, no matter their size.

Squirro, a global AI company that focuses on search, insights, and automation, has also teamed up with Alibaba Cloud. It is launching the Squirro Gen AI Platform on the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.

This move will first help businesses in the Asia-Pacific region, especially in finance, manufacturing, and retail, by giving them access to powerful, easy-to-use AI tools that support smarter decision-making.

By combining Alibaba Cloud’s strong global infrastructure with Squirro’s AI and data analytics skills, the partnership aims to help businesses around the world go digital faster and work more efficiently.

PingCAP has partnered with Alibaba Cloud to offer its TiDB database on the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.

TiDB is a powerful, AI-friendly database that makes it easier to build and run AI apps. It offers serverless flexibility, built-in vector search, and real-time data processing, all in one system.

This partnership uses TiDB’s cloud-native design and Alibaba Cloud’s global network to give businesses better scalability, speed, and flexibility—helping them do more with their data.

Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, has expanded its partnership with Alibaba Cloud.

Now, Atos will also act as a Reseller Partner, offering Alibaba Cloud’s full range of cloud tools, AI models, and tech services to enterprise customers in global markets.

Atos adds its strengths in cloud migration, AI services, and industry-specific solutions, helping businesses move to the cloud faster and drive innovation more effectively.

Following its announcement of a global partnership earlier this year, Crayon is now expanding its presence in Southeast Asia. Crayon Singapore and Crayon Philippines have become official regional resellers of Alibaba Cloud.

This partnership gives Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) direct access to Alibaba Cloud’s technologies. With Crayon’s expertise in cloud, AI, and cybersecurity, it will help partners grow faster and adopt digital tools more easily.

DXC Technology, a global IT company, has teamed up with Alibaba Cloud to bring its advanced cloud and AI solutions to Asian markets.

By combining DXC’s experience in modernizing IT systems and improving data structures with Alibaba Cloud’s secure and advanced technology, the goal is to improve business performance, boost competitiveness, and offer better customer experiences.

Bespin Global Indonesia, a top cloud service provider, has become an official Managed Service Provider (MSP) for Alibaba Cloud in Indonesia.
