B2B procurement startup Prowrrap Secures INR 4 Crore in Seed Funding

B2B procurement startup Prowrrap has secured INR 4 crore in seed funding, led by Calance Software and angel investor Amit Govil from IIT Varanasi.

The startup plans to raise a Series A round in the next 18–24 months to grow even more.

The new funds will be used to improve its technology for smarter purchasing, expand distribution across India, and focus on quick commerce, fresh fruits and vegetables, e-commerce, and MSME segments.

Prowrrap was founded in January 2024 by brothers Sagar K. Saxena (IIM Lucknow, formerly with Swiggy) and Rishabh K. Saxena (IMT Ghaziabad, formerly with Bira91).

It is a procurement platform that helps MSMEs and fast-growing businesses manage their supply chain more easily, from designing products to distributing them.

The company currently works with clients in tier-I and some tier-II cities. It plans to expand to 25 cities by next year.

Its all-in-one platform helps businesses handle procurement faster, with better quality and lower costs, making it a reliable partner for growth.

India’s packaging market is currently worth USD 101 billion and is expected to reach USD 170 billion by 2030. Globally, the packaging market is valued at over USD 1.18 trillion.
