
Bain Capital has agreed to buy a majority stake in Namirial SpA, an Italian software company, according to Bloomberg News.
The deal values Namirial at about €1.1 billion ($1.2 billion) and marks a shift in ownership from the private equity firm Ambienta to Bain Capital.
Namirial’s founder, Enrico Giacomelli, and the management team, led by CEO Max Pellegrini, will continue to hold a large share of the company. This leadership continuity is expected to help keep things stable during the ownership change.
