BharatTender, a B2B procurement technology startup, has raised Rs 1.25 crore (Approx $133,000) in a pre-seed funding round from an angel investor.
The company said it will use the fresh funding to improve its platform, expand its customer base, and develop new AI-powered features to make procurement processes more efficient.
“Indian businesses lose money every day to opaque procurement not because they want to, but because there has never been infrastructure for anything better,” said Rankit Singh, Co-founder & CEO of BharatTender. “We’re building that infrastructure. Our goal is to make procurement as transparent, efficient, and trusted as digital payments have become over the last decade, enabling businesses to discover the right suppliers, secure the best prices, and transact with confidence.”
Founded in 2025 by Rankit Singh, Sanyam Jain and Anshul Kochar, BharatTender is a B2B procurement marketplace that helps businesses purchase products and services from verified suppliers. The platform includes features such as competitive bidding, digital contracts and secure escrow-backed payments.
The company aims to become a one-stop platform for business procurement, offering services such as tender management, supplier discovery, payment processing, and other procurement tools in one place.
Many businesses still rely on phone calls, WhatsApp messages, spreadsheets, and personal vendor networks to find suppliers. This often makes it difficult to compare prices and manage procurement efficiently.
BharatTender addresses these challenges by providing a structured digital marketplace where businesses can easily connect with suppliers and manage procurement activities online.
Using the platform, businesses can handle the entire procurement process digitally, from posting tenders and onboarding suppliers to receiving bids, signing contracts, and making secure payments.
