BizDateUp Launches INR 1,000 Cr Pulse Fund I for Startups, SMEs, and Real Estate

BizDateUp has launched Pulse Fund I, a INR 1,000 crore Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF). The fund has a base size of INR 500 crore with an additional green-shoe option of INR 500 crore.

The fund plans to invest 50% in high-growth startups, 30% in profitable SMEs, and 20% in selected real estate projects.

All financial, legal, and compliance checks will be carried out under the guidance of an NISM-certified fund manager.

BizDateUp was founded by Jeet Chandan and Meet Jain and positions itself as a startup ecosystem enabler.

In FY23-24, the company funded over 25 startups, raised a $10 million fund, and engaged more than 1,000 active angel investors, delivering an average return of 3.5X on investments.

Pulse Fund I builds on BizDateUp’s strong track record, combining investment capital with its in-house Venture Studio Model, which supports portfolio companies beyond funding by helping with governance, compliance, and market access.

In FY24, BizDateUp funded 25+ startups, raised a $10 million fund, engaged 1,000 angel investors, and delivered an average return of 3.5X.

Looking ahead, the company plans to expand globally, launching similar funds in Singapore, the USA and Dubai within the next two years aiming to raise over $1 billion to support India’s innovation ecosystem.
