AI infrastructure startup CopilotKit has raised US$27 million in a Series A funding round to grow its platform.
The funding round was led by Glilot Capital, NFX, and SignalFire. CopilotKit also launched a new product called Enterprise Intelligence.
This product is self-hosted, which means companies can run it on their own systems. It helps businesses add AI agents directly into their apps, like dashboards, internal tools and everyday workflows.
CopilotKit wants to create applications where AI agents are a natural and built-in part of the system.
These AI agents can work smoothly across dashboards, business tools, mobile apps, developer tools, and real-time collaboration platforms.
The AG-UI standard is already being used by big tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Oracle, along with popular AI libraries.
In the future, CopilotKit plans to improve its platform by adding an analytics layer for apps that use AI agents.
It also wants to introduce a self-learning feature, so AI agents can keep getting better by learning from real user interactions over time.
Atai Barkai, the company’s CEO, has a lot of experience in building large systems for developers. Before starting CopilotKit, he worked at Meta, where he led media infrastructure projects, and earlier at Doximity, where he led the development of key applications.
Uli Barkai is responsible for handling the company’s growth, partnerships, and overall ecosystem.
