Cox Automotive, the world’s largest automotive services and technology company, is buying Fullpath, a software company based in Jerusalem.
Fullpath has built an AI-powered platform that helps car businesses manage customer data and automate marketing. The exact deal amount was not shared, but it is estimated to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
The company works in the $2 trillion U.S. automotive market and serves thousands of car dealerships.
It has also been chosen as an official technology provider by major car brands like Porsche, Jaguar Land Rover, Mazda, and General Motors.
Cox Enterprises, the parent company of Cox Automotive, is a 128-year-old family-owned business. It earns over $23 billion each year and has more than 60,000 employees around the world.
Cox Automotive offers technology and services to car dealers, automakers, fleet operators, and customers. After the deal is completed, Fullpath will become part of its plan to provide advanced AI tools to automotive retailers.
Since it was founded, Fullpath has raised more than $55 million from investors like Riverwood Capital, Target Global, PICO Venture Partners, and Aleph. Its last funding round took place four years ago.
The company has around 260 employees, with about 160 based in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and the rest in the United States. It expects to cross $100 million in yearly recurring revenue (ARR) by 2026 and plans to keep growing its operations in Israel.
“Dealers today are navigating the most competitive and technology-intensive environment in the history of this industry,” said Steve Rowley, President, Cox Automotive. “This agreement supercharges our data and AI advantages and brings our dealers the most advanced technology inside of our industry-leading connected retail platform. Fullpath gives dealers the AI and data infrastructure they need to compete, and it makes everything we already offer them smarter, faster, and more effective. This is the most significant capability investment we’ve made in years, and it reflects our long-term commitment to being the partner dealers can count on, now and in the future.”
Fullpath was founded in 2013 by Aharon Horowitz, Eliav Moshe, and Yishai Goldstein. The company has built a platform that collects and combines data from different dealership systems to create one clear and accurate customer profile.
The platform works like an AI-powered “brain” for car dealerships. It helps them run highly personalized marketing campaigns at a large scale, based on their inventory and business goals.
