
CUSTA, a platform that helps businesses create and order customised products more easily, has raised about $4.3 million (RM 17 million) in funding.
The investment includes a Pre-Series A round, which was co-led by Delight Ventures and Global Brain.
Customised products like corporate gifts, event merchandise, printed materials, and brand kits are still widely used by businesses in Malaysia to build relationships and connect with customers. This is especially important as MSMEs contributed about 39.5% of the country’s GDP in 2024.
However, the industry still faces several challenges. Prices and delivery times are often unclear, orders are usually handled by multiple vendors, and small orders can be difficult to manage and deliver reliably.
“The customised products market is a huge sector and the reality is that it remains largely analog, with structural challenges such as unclear pricing and delivery timelines,” said Kosuke Nishida, Partner at Delight Ventures. “CUSTA has already proven execution in Southeast Asia at real scale and we believe the team is well-positioned to modernise how custom products are purchased and delivered.”

CUSTA is a customisation e-commerce platform based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with another headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 2023, the platform allows businesses and individuals to design and order customised products, including apparel, accessories, and branded merchandise.
The platform offers many product choices and flexible design options. It also provides clear pricing and faster delivery time estimates to make the ordering process easier.
So far, CUSTA offers more than 4,500 product SKUs and has delivered over 500,000 customised items across Malaysia and Singapore. The company aims to make customisation easier for SMEs, creators, and consumers by offering a single platform that connects design, production, and delivery.
