Cyera Raises $300 Million in Round Led by Evolution Equity Partners

AI and data security company Cyera has raised US$300 million in a new funding round, reaching a valuation of US$12 billion.

With this investment, Cyera has raised more than $2 billion in total funding since it was founded.

The latest funding round was led by Evolution Equity Partners, a well-known investor in Israeli cybersecurity companies. The firm has previously invested in companies such as Island, Torq, and Armis, which was later acquired by ServiceNow.

The funding round also included investments from Georgian, Greenoaks, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, Sapphire Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Cyberstarts, Coatue, Accel, and Spark Capital. These investors joined the round alongside the lead investor to support Cyera’s continued growth.

In January, Cyera raised US$400 million at a valuation of US$9 billion. The company’s value has grown rapidly, increasing from US$3 billion in 2024 to $6 billion in 2025, and then to US$9 billion in 2026.

Cyera operates in the data security industry and provides an AI-powered platform that helps organizations find, organize, and protect sensitive data across their cloud systems.

Cyera was founded in 2021 by Yotam Segev and Tamar Bar-Ilan. Both founders are graduates of Israel’s prestigious Talpiot program and the military intelligence Unit 8200.

Cyera has been actively acquiring companies in recent months to expand its business.

Last month, it acquired Israeli startup Genie Security for an estimated $50 million. A month earlier, it bought another Israeli startup, Ryft, for around $100 million. Ryft was founded in 2024 and had only 15 employees at the time of the acquisition.

Along with earlier acquisitions such as Trail Security, Otterize, and Shape AI, these deals have helped Cyera quickly grow its operations and strengthen its position in the data security market.
