The startup is developing a complete, AI-native cybersecurity platform for government agencies, highly regulated businesses, and other organisations that cannot rely on public cloud infrastructure.
The platform is designed to run fully on-premises or in private cloud environments, giving customers greater control over their data, infrastructure, and security operations. Cylake’s architecture is intended to bring together data and context from across an organisation’s infrastructure creating a unified foundation for security protection and AI-driven workflows.

The company says this approach can help organisations meet data sovereignty requirements while also improving visibility across environments where multiple security tools operate independently and each has access to only part of the available data.
“We are building Cylake for organizations that cannot compromise between adopting advanced cybersecurity technology and maintaining control of their data and infrastructure,” said Zuk. “In those cases, the public cloud is not the right operating model. The architecture needs to be rebuilt around complete data, sovereignty, and control for an AI-native world. This investment lets us accelerate that work.”
“Having worked with Nir for more than 30 years, I’ve seen firsthand his ability to anticipate where the market is going and build the anchor products that will define the next generation of cybersecurity,” said Loonkar. “Cylake is already partnering with some of the top organizations across industries on product development, and I’m confident demand will only accelerate as the team moves toward general availability.”
The latest funding will support Cylake’s product development, team expansion and preparations for the beta lNir Zukaunch planned for the end of 2026.
About Cylake
Founded in 2026 by Nir Zuk, Wilson Xu, and Ehud (Udi) Shamir, Cylake is developing an AI-powered cybersecurity platform designed for large organisations that handle sensitive and highly regulated data. The platform helps these institutions strengthen security while keeping their data and systems under their own control.
Instead of relying on public cloud services, Cylake’s technology can run on-premises or in private cloud environments. This gives customers greater control over their data, security systems and day-to-day operations.
