Israeli firms are anticipated to announce additional $800 million fundraising rounds by the end of this week. Cyera is the only Israeli business to achieve unicorn status through new investment, in contrast to the other companies that have recently announced significant funding rounds.

The founders of Cyera, CEO Yotam Segev and CTO Tamar Bar-Ilan, were coworkers in the IDF’s Unit 8200, where they established, developed, and oversaw the cloud security branch. The business has created a cloud-native, agentless platform that leverages native APIs to continuously find, categorize, and safeguard critical data. It can be put into use in a matter of minutes.
